I loved the movie, which is why I was totally excited about reading the books because everybody knows that books are better than the movies.
But, to be honest, I prefer the movie. :( Sorry.
Still, the books were great. Tolkien had such an imagination. I want to live in Middle Earth! Well, maybe not, unless I lived in the Shire. I’m a peaceful kind of person.
My favorite character has to be Aragorn. I can’t help it… he’s just so cool. I also love Gimli because he adds some comic relief. I think the elves could have used some work so that all of the males didn’t seem so… (I don’t want to say gay, but…) And Gandalf, obviously. Who doesn't love Gandalf?
Now I have to go and watch the movies again. I think the 2nd book was the best out of the three. Then the first and the third is last… maybe because I was so sad it was over.
